What ideas do you have for libraries to build credibility with their patrons so that we have a higher probability of being seen, well received, and therefore valued?
Libraries rightly identify clear delineation of key services and products as a focus for marketing communication.
Where within that discourse is the place of personality? Should the face of our organisations be faceless? Is that even possible?
Why not sell ideas, stories and history from vending machines?

I believe communication and conversation about individual organisations needs to be out in the open. There's no sense in operating in a vacuum. People talk. It's a simple fact.
Communication, conversation, debate and discussion between organisations about practices and policies needs to be celebrated, not punished.
We're all in the same industry folks. Collaboration and sharing ideas (hence this vehicle of Sally's, - thank you Sally, it's a wonderful drive ;-) are of benefit to us all.
